How to Care for Your Candle
- Always trim your cotton wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This will help improve the burning of your candle and also keep it clean of any possible fallout from the charred wick.
- To prevent candle tunneling, make sure that everytime you light your candle you leave it burning until the pool melts all the way to the edges of your jar. This will ensure an even burn of your candle.
- To extend the life of your candle, avoid putting your candle in drafts to prevent rapid or uneven burning. Candle scents will also fade over time if left in the light for an extended period of time, so place your candle away from windows or doors that may expose it to light.
- Since our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, candle frosting may occur over time. This is completely normal and does not affect the candle's performance at all. To possibly avoid this keep candles away from sunlight.
- When it’s time to retire your candle, make sure it has around 1/2 inch of wax left at the bottom. It’s okay to have a little wax left over, candles are created with a wax buffer to help ensure safety.
